Visual Art Tutorial Class (HK000221-1CA)
This course is designed for students who have an interest in and intention to develop their skills in art. It aims to help students enhance their painting, design, creative ideation, and art appreciation abilities. The instructor will provide comprehensive guidance throughout the process of creating a portfolio, starting from developing creative ideas and sketches to the production of artworks. They will offer advice and assistance, enabling students to have a better grasp of visual arts and laying a solid foundation for their portfolios for university admissions.
Visual Art and Design course (HK000222-1CA)
This course is composed of four portfolio units that aim to fulfill the four assessment objectives while developing essential learning skills in the subject. The approach taken involves drawing, multimedia materials, and 3D/2D design.
Students will build essential skills and techniques that can be applied in their individual investigations. Individual investigations involve creating a substantial portfolio in response to a chosen concept or theme. Students are required to research different genres, styles, and characteristics of various artists to discover their own artistic direction and develop their aesthetic taste and artistic style.
Digital Imaging Course (HK00022D)
This course aims to introduce the concepts, processes, and applications of digital imaging. Through various practical exercises, students will enhance their knowledge of digital imaging. The course emphasizes the application of imaging techniques in learning, daily life, and work to create engaging and dynamic visuals that improve the quality of presentations and reports.
✻Art Assignment Tutorial Workshop (HK000224-1CA)
This workshop aims to guide students to create art based on their personal style and creative ideas. Giving students in-depth requirements in order to show students’ comprehensive artistic strength. This course provides tutorials in a small-class setting. Students will brainstorm on the theme, draft and produce artwork according to the style of the school they applied.
