This course educates students on basic drawing skills. Through skills training, students can get a preliminary understanding of drawing skills and composition. Cultivating students’ observation ability and laying a solid foundation for artistic creation.
This course teaches students to understand the principles of three-dimensional drawing, the rules of light and shadow and its expression techniques. Helping students to gradually develop a scientific observation method and improve their drawing ability.
Using colour based on sketching principles. Enhance students’ observation skill, enlighten students’ creative thinking, and learns expressive techniques of different scenes and spaces.
This course teaches students preliminary knowledge of colour principles, helps them understand the characteristics of different paints and master preliminary colour painting skills, and improves their ability to express with colours.
(Provide oil painting materials, except paint and brushes)
Students will be able to analyze, understand, and copy the expression methods of Chinese painting, and master the basic techniques, characteristics, and forms.
Sketching is the foundation of art, and has an independent aesthetic connotation and language of itself; it has formative, rational, and technical aspects, but can also be free, sensitive, and artistic.
Basic sketching focuses on the objective reproduction of objects, cultivates students’ way of seeing, comprehensive expression skills, and enhances students’ sense of aesthetic to deepen their understanding of art.
Students can understand and master the basic skills and theory of colour. Familiarize themselves with the tools and expression method, express forms with colour and fully reflect the texture and spatial relationship of the object, deepen the understanding of the law of shape structure, colour relationship, etc., cultivate a keen sense of colour.
This course requires students to have basic knowledge of drawing and colouring. The course studies the composition of comics, figure structure, and the depiction of scenes. The manga course helps to develop students’ imagination and creativity.
Chinese painting has thousands of years of history. It is a cultural treasure of the Chinese nation. It has a unique style and artistic charm and has established its system in the world of painting. Students will learn Chinese painting techniques comprehensively, from basic to professional, laying a foundation for mastering Chinese painting.
